Step 1: Design
Once you have met and spoken with our experienced sales staff about your needs, it’s time to make that vision a reality. Ensure that your label is exactly what you need by letting our art department do the work for you. We can design a custom label that meets your exact application or we can utilize your existing files and artwork. We’ll work alongside you to get true Pantone matching and original font styles for a crisp, distinctive product. Our team accepts the following file types:
MAC – preferred
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Macromedia FreeHand
- QuarkXPress
PC
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- CorelDraw!
Artwork created using software platforms not listed may possibly be accepted. Just call to see what we can do for you!
Step 2: Pre-Press
The process and procedures between the creation of your artwork and the final print is called pre-press. This is what happens from the conception of your project to the physical printed label. This is where our staff works with you to fine-tune images, text, color specs, die sizes and shapes, and more. We then create a high-quality print file or print plate for the job.
Together we transform your ideas into workable art that conveys your company’s image and needs. Then, with your “proof positive” approval, our staff creates custom printing plates. Our experienced staff uses plate imaging and processing equipment right here at our facility to achieve exceptional print quality.
Custom Die-Cutting
- Used to cut thin flat material into specific shapes and sizes using a steel cut die
- Rotary engraved dies
- Magnetic cutting dies
- Back side liner die cutting
- Perforating, face-cutting, and many other options
Step 3: Production
Our team of experienced press operators will confidently take your ideas and turn them into reality. Our flexographic presses handle a high output level making it ideal for larger orders. They typically run several hundred feet of material per minute. Setting up a press can take quite a while – sometimes several hours. But once set up, the process is quick and efficient which means overall cost-savings. That’s why we spend so much time in the Design and Pre-press phases with our clients.
Once your custom labels are printed and finished on the presses, they travel to our rewinding area. Then the desired quantity of labels are wound around a corrugated core and sent off to shipping. The shipping team securely packages your labels and ships your product that day. Items are shipped by various mail carriers to keep costs low and ensure the quickest delivery.
As an added convenience, we offer flexible scheduling. This free service allows clients to schedule specific delivery dates for labels they need weekly or monthly. We keep an inventory of your product in our climate-controlled facility and ship specified quantities straight to you, hassle-free, based on your schedule!
